Code: Select all
sudo BRANCH=next rpi-update
if I write another copy of a booster on another card and copy the boot tab will it work fine?DougieLawson wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2019 7:49 pmWhat possible reasons do you have for doing that?
Scrap your SDCard by writing a fresh copy of Raspbian on it and DO NOT ever run rpi-update ever again unless instructed to do so by an expert from the RPF or RP(T)Ltd.
rpi-update is not a general purpose tool and branch=next is currently a long way back-level (7 months - long before RPi4) behind the current experimental kernel and bootcode.
