Looking for kernel module hid_logitech_dj

Fri Aug 23, 2019 8:35 pm

HI everyone

i want to pair my Logitech keyboard with my Raspberry Pi. I am using the latest buster-lite image.

I tried using solaar und ltunify (https://github.com/mir-ror/ltunify) and both programms tell me the cannot find the kernel module hid_logitech_dj.

modprobe hid_logitech_dj also tells me it is not available:

modprobe: ERROR: ../libkmod/libkmod.c:586 kmod_search_moddep() could not open moddep file '/lib/modules/4.19.57-v7+/modules.dep.bin'
modprobe: FATAL: Module hid_logitech_dj not found in directory /lib/modules/4.19.57-v7+

Is there anyway i can download this module from somewhere?

If that Logitech Keyboard uses the Unifying Receiver, I don't think it will pair with anything else but a Unifying Receiver?
Any time I've ever tried to pair one of mine with something else it failed. I haven't tried to pair it with a Pi though?
I'll tag along to see if you get it to work.

It works on 4.19.66-v7+ on my 3B

Code: Select all

[email protected]:/tmp # modprobe hid_logitech_dj
[email protected]:/tmp # lsmod | grep logi
hid_logitech_dj 20480 0
[email protected]:/tmp #
Run
sudo apt update
sudo apt dist-upgrade -y
sudo reboot

To get 4.19.66-v7+

Thank you. That upgrade solved it.
