Latest Raspbian (2019 April+) kernel problem

Fri May 24, 2019 3:35 pm

Dear All,

I have updated Raspbian to the latest possible version and now my T3 Airmouse freezes the system. As soon as I push any button on the remote the CPU usage jumps up to 25% immediately and remains there. Mouse cursor works but clicking doesn't not even with a regular mouse or a virtual one through VNC. According to "top" command "Xorg" uses 100% of CPU time. The downloadable image file (2019 April) works well, and the problems only start when I update the package "raspberrypi-kernel". I have tried different (clean) installations as well as other remotes and Raspberries (Rpi3 / Rpi3+). Also: if I open an application with a regular mouse and then I push one of the buttons of the Airmouse, the program's window starts scrolling up and down frantically If I were pushing buttons.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
