Using xpra?

Mon May 06, 2019 10:22 pm

I tried to use Xpra, but keep getting this?

Failed to connect, received: 'xpra initialization error:\n unknown format for display name: S3630'

This is on stretch (upgraded from jessie).

This is from log file on server side in /home/pi/.xpra/

/usr/lib/xorg/Xorg.wrap: Only console users are allowed to run the X server
2019-05-06 16:14:40,438 Error starting Xvfb:
2019-05-06 16:14:40,440 Xorg did not provide a display number using -displayfd

Any ideas?

As per your other post upgrading to Stretch from Jessie is not recommended:

The correct procedure for installing xpra:

Code: Select all

sudo apt update
sudo apt install xpra
adieu

My other Computer is an Asus CS10 ChromeBit running Chrome Operating System.
HP Envy 4500 Wireless Printer supported by HPLIP software in Raspbian Stretch.
