e.g. (at the moment):
a url with a static name would make maintaining download scripts way easier. the url is always the same and i only have to compare the timestamp of the file to know, if a new image is available to download (or using wget with timestamping).

at the moment, on my RPi-PXE-Server project, i have to update the url of the moste recent IMG or ISO file by hand, if i found a new release on the web page - and sometimes i missed that moment that there is a new release available.
