High load average

Thu Oct 18, 2012 5:35 am

Hi.

I am getting unusually high load averages since switching from squeeze(the first official RPI package) to raspbian(wheezy).
My PI has no significant work to do, a few processes running idle, and a few web pages open...
This is what I get:
load average: 1,73, 1,68, 1,93

When I kill al the processes I consider is safe killing the averages go down to about 0.5

I have no processes in D state.

My uname -a
Linux wizi 3.2.27+ #160 PREEMPT Mon Sep 17 23:18:42 BST 2012 armv6l GNU/Linux

Thanks for any ideas....

My wheezy preempt is at 247 so you might want to try again I usually update then upgrade then rpi update.

Big difference between 160 and 247 not sure why it left you that far behind.
If you are more worried about ,spelling, punctuation or grammar you have probably already missed the point so please just move on.

And how to install it?

I did the apt update and upgrade, but nothing changed... the load during the upgrade was over 8  , and it remains arround 1 in idle state.
BTW, I have the v2 rpi.

No, nothing changes...
I get:
Sep 18 2012 01:44:00
Copyright (c) 2012 Broadcom
version 337601 (release)

and the load stays high.
