I run most updated Raspbian Stretch on Pi3B and have a problem with Chromium when opening a new tab or loading a new page, because then I often get "Aw, Snap! Something went wrong while displaying this webpage. Learn More Reload". "Learn more" also leads to "Aw, Snap!". I have Chromium Version 60.0.3112.89 (Developer Build) Built on Ubuntu 14.04, running on Raspbian 9.1 (32-bit). If I reboot Raspbian it works for a while, but then the problems start again. It's when I e.g. start to scroll Twitter.com I always get this error, and when the problems have started they continue. I may get up a page, but then it's replaced by the "Aw, Snap!" page.
Chromium is the default browser of Raspbian Stretch so I think it should work best. Chromium works very well in most updated Lubuntu on Pi2B (Chromium Version 63.0.3239.84 (Officiell version) Built on Ubuntu , running on Ubuntu 16.04 (32 bitar)) (I use Swedish as language in Lubuntu).
I disabled all extensions. Which extensions are the original for Chromium in Raspbian Stretch that are installed by default?
The version of Chromium in Raspberry Stretch is a bit old compared to that in Lubuntu. I need the Chromium with Flash from Raspbian Stretch since I use Scratch.MIT.Edu a lot.
It could be something wrong with my Raspbian Stretch or maybe this is the same for every one. If there is a particular problem with my system; is there a way to e.g. verify important files? If this is a general problem I think Raspbian or RaspberryPi.org should release a new version.
I use my Pi3B with Raspbian Stretch as a desktop computer, so a browser has to work. What other browsers are already installed from start in Raspbian Stretch? I also have a Pi2B with Lubuntu 16.04 next to it, and use x2x to share mouse and keyboard and to copy and paste between the screens. https://github.com/mobluse/x2x
