YouTube using up all the ram in chromium

Sat Nov 25, 2017 1:19 pm

Hi.

I'm on raspbian stretch and using the default chromium browser with the mods. When I'm watching a long video on YouTube, it would eventually eat up all my ram and ends up freezing. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I've tried googling it but didn't really find anything relevant.

This doesn't happen for me in Jessie. I would avoid Stretch - that seems to be the locus of the problem.

Lots of little strangenesses in Stretch - I don't think it's quite RFPT.

NO, not eat up all of ram, you can open another tabs still work.
