Use and show local time

Thu Oct 12, 2017 12:05 pm

Hi
I just changed time zone, using tzselect. It shows the local time and Universal time correctly. But the time stamp on files and the clock time on the screen is universal. How can I go to local time?

There's an option in sudo raspi-config and the GUI preferences menu to set your timezone.

Or from a command line (or lxterminal) sudo dpkg-reconfigure tzdata

Thank you.
It seems to work. Sorry for delayed answer, I have been busy with other stuff.
