Mouse cursor starts on start menu

Mon Aug 21, 2017 5:16 pm

Title says it all. I made some adjustments to Jessie and now my mouse pointer starts on menu no matter where I move the menu. Does any one know the root cause for this? I wrote down the changes I made and I will make a new version of the OS and see if I can figure out the change I made. If I can duplicate it, I'll post back on the forum.

Seems to be default behaviour...
Why is that a problem?

The real problem is that when hovering over the start menu, a little pop up text box says to "Click here." In beta testing, my testers tried to press that before my program started up. I really just want that box to go away somehow. I don't care where the pointer starts.

I fresh installed Stretch on RBP3 and I don't have a mouse pointer visible, any solutions?

Start a new topic in Troubleshooting. Your problem has nothing to do with this topic.
When you post that new topic make sure to include what type of mouse it is, and if it was working in other comuters.
If it involves also include the output of 'lsusb' in the post
