Thank you, was really looking for the ARMv6 compatible version, as I intend to use my Raspbery Pi Bs and A+'s a lot more.

Though I will still take a close look at that one.
You can compile it with different compier options, but on a RPi B it's not much fun: you can only play SD video, even with HW acceleration (some 720p videos also work, but not all).
Minimal Kiosk Browser (kweb)
Slim, fast webkit browser with support for audio+video+playlists+youtube+pdf+download
Optional fullscreen kiosk mode and command interface for embedded applications
Includes omxplayerGUI, an X front end for omxplayer

A few months ago when I tryed about 20 different Linux Distros that ran on the ARMv6 RPi's one of them had an install of accelerated VLC that would play HD very well on a Raspberry Pi B. Not that it matters, as I primarily use 480p or 480i video, even from youtube.

So I know there is the possibility of using an Accelerated VLC on the ARMv6 RPi and doing very well with HD video. Not sure why the Raspbian Distros have trouble with that.

Well it is time for the marithon of getting the minimal Raspbian setup while I have internet, and it looks like I have a lot more work than planned, as there have been zero responces to the issue of what packages come preinstalled in the Raspbian lite (what I have been looking to find before I start).

I will begin with installing x11, x11-apps, vtwm, and synaptic (and the GTK dependancies of synaptic :( ), so that I can use synaptic to look at what is installed, and remove some of the extra stuff. It will make it interesting.

Once that is done I will be installing WiringPi, Slic3r, OpenSCAD, x11-dev, xlib-dev, xcb-dev, PropLoader, OpenSPIN, mtpaint and a large list of things that I have in a text file though am not thinking about at the moment.

This will be very interesting. Plan to begin in a few minutes, if all goes to plan.

The interesting part will be making back up copies of the system once completely configured. I may have to see what the Independence are for piclone, if few enough I may just install it.
