Number of raspberries at top of screen when booting

Thu Jul 07, 2016 7:05 am

This is strange. In most cases, including my Pi, when booting Raspbian there's just one Raspberry Pi logo at the top of the screen. However, take a look at this: Image
I've seen this once before somewhere else, but with three raspberries. I assumed it was because it was a Pi 3 (3 raspberries=Pi3), but now this one has four, so it can't be that.
What's with the extra Pi logos?
I do moral support. Here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/search.php?search_id=egosearch
I know I use too many parentheses. Problem?

It has already been discussed. 4 logos for 4 cored. Perhaps the image you saw, the person disable one core. Please search before asking these questions. It helps everyone in the long run.
There are 10 types of people: those who understand binary and those who don't.
