I have just setup Bluetooth on my Pi3 (after some difficulties) and installed blueman.
When I started the GUI there was a Bluetoorh icon which I used to setup my Wireless Mouse.
After some hours I came back and the Bluetoorh icon was gone. I can find it in Preferences/Bluetooth Manager.
I can't find any Panel applet, and I can't even add to the "Application Launch Bar" Installed Applications/Preferences shows, but there is no Bluetooth Manager to add.

Re: How do I add Bluetooth Manager to Panel
I also have this problem. The Bluetooth icon and Bluetooth Manager are missing from the desktop. I suspect that this may be due to the fact that I have recently upgraded my Raspberry Pi from Raspbian Wheezy to Raspbian Jessie.

I did not see the panel icon until I updated the user groups. See https://www.pi-supply.com/make/fix-rasp ... cba1185463
