Chromium custom css?

Hi! I'm trying unsuccessfully to set default background color in chromium 45 (white to pale yellow); some google places tell something about creating a custom.css file in .config/..... I tried it with no results (maybe custom css is removed in this release, as other posts say).
Any ideas?
