Pi 1B - suitable browser?

Fri Jan 22, 2016 11:00 pm

I'm using a Pi 1b (512 RAM, 2 USB & Ethernet port)
Installed Jessie & tried to access https://leylan.github.io/devices-dashboard-ng/#/login with the default browser.
Simply returns me to the same page?
All works fine in PC.
Tried to install Chromium but when I click icon whirls for a minute as if about ti launch, then nothing!
Have also tried other 'bundled browsers, no joy.
Could anyone reconend a suitable alternative browser with install instructions?
Many thanks,
Abdy

Chromium on Jessie only works on a Pi2.

What did you try? Did you try Iceweasel, kweb and Epiphany?

What are the issues?
There are 10 types of people: those who understand binary and those who don't.

Epiphany. I can load the login page, but when I submit brings me back to the login page. I obviously have loved in as when I try one of the other pages I 'get you are already logged in'.
Seems I can't get to the Dashboard pave
Best,
Andy

Probably means that it won't work with any webkit browser.
Try iceweasel.
Minimal Kiosk Browser (kweb)
Slim, fast webkit browser with support for audio+video+playlists+youtube+pdf+download
Optional fullscreen kiosk mode and command interface for embedded applications
Includes omxplayerGUI, an X front end for omxplayer

I noticed additional s in http... Which understandability will give me 404
The underling issue remains unfortunately, as I stated in my original post, when using the correct URL brings me back to login page...
