Boot fails at "waiting for /dev to be fully populated"

Hi Guys,

Using a new Raspberry 2 and a new install of NOOBS.

I have installed Raspian several times now and find that it will work just fine for a while and then seemly randomly will not boot up properly. Sometimes it will work fine for 5 or 6 boots, and others maybe just once. The most recent install worked fine but on the next boot up it failed.

During the start it pauses at:
waiting for /dev to be fully populated

then after a few seconds it caries on but with screens full of errors that seem to just keep repeating and never gets to the login.

I have tried a couple of different SD cards, but get the same each time.

Any advice much appreciated.

Ralph

Based on my experiences problem is in Power Adaptor.
Even if you have DC 5V 2A OUT on adaptor it does not mean it will work well.

For example I used new Stontronics 5V 2A and was getting errors you write about every 4-7 reboots!?!? constantly.

When I changed to other adaptor (older Stontronics I had already before) with DC out 5V 1.5A everything works well.
