Find the USB stick

Mon Dec 29, 2014 2:38 pm

I have a wireless keyboard and mouse connected to USB and also
a wireless internet connection. they all work fine. But now I have written a small python program on my PC that I want to transfer to the raspberry via an USB-stick. How do I find the USB port. My guess is that there hall be some Unix command like mount USB or similar?

If you're using the desktop, a "standard" (FAT formatted) USB stick will probably automount and be found via the filemanager under the /media directory. FWIW, I wrote some notes/suggestions w.r.t. manual mounting and/or auto-mounting at boot time some time ago, and which can be found here:

Still running Raspbian Jessie or Stretch on some older Pi's (an A, B1, 2xB2, B+, P2B, 3xP0, P0W, 2xP3A+, P3B+, P3B, B+, and a A+) but Buster on the P4B's. See: https://www.cpmspectrepi.uk/raspberry_pi/raspiidx.htm
