The funny part is I stumbled across this too a few days ago. Looks like an interesting project although in Japanese which some of the schematics are making the notes hard to read although google does a good job of the rest.

The new instance of why I gained interest is because of a problem I was having with how finicky scsi devices can be, eg I have a HDD and a CD Rom but neither want to play ball together, I thought maybe the Pi Scsi might be a bit more universal allowing me to do some testing.
