How to share RPI image files

Tue Dec 02, 2014 7:59 am

I have a project that I am developing for someone not in my area. I've sent a clone of my dev system to him but recent project code updates didn't work well on his side (new packages needed for new code failed to install). I'm sending him a new clone of my dev system again. I wonder if there is any way to share huge files. I've kept my raspbian at 4GB size. I use dropbox but that will overload my dropbox. I could create a new account but was just wondering if there are any way to share a large file for short period of time just to save postage :) Thanks.

I am located in the US.

Sounds stupid but did you compress the file first?
7z or similar should compress the image quite a bit. Last image I compressed dropped from 4gb to 329mb. With the current image it should be close to 1gb
