keyboard with built in USB Hub

Fri Nov 14, 2014 10:59 am

Anyone know if those keyboards with a built in hub are usable RPi A+ ?

What I'm thinking is that the keyboard can be plugged into the A+ and then a mouse and wifi dongle are plugged into the two usb ports on the keyboard.

if you have a decent PSU then possibly yes
dunno if you can activate the extra power mode on the A+

If you can't it would still be possible to inject a seperate 5v into the USB power line, although at that point you might as well have a powered hub.
