xbmc w fm transmitter on pi

ok I was wondering, I wanta make a pi for my car with xbmc, but was thinking if I could also use the pi's fm transmitter trick with it. this would alow me to transmit to FM radio without another adapter or such... anyone think about this or try it?

Works but low quality audio.
Use a wired solution instead.
