11.07.12 tracking details appear on Parcelforce system, package received from RS 01:37hrs, received local depot 07:17hrs, on delivery vehicle 07:22hrs, delivery attempted 11:33hrs.
Package now waiting for me in local post office

So reasonably on programme with the published schedule, but not sure about the Parcelforce "Express 24" service!!

Starting to feel quite deflated now!!!

I think Montala has hit the nail on the head.

I must admit I was feeling v. annoyed that I hadn't recieved my Pi yet, because (1) the original lead time in the order confirmation email and (2) the estimated delivery dates at the start of this thread both indicated that I should have recieved it by now.

Add to this the fact that (3) somewhere on this thread it's stated that we were all emailed with a further delivery update (I certainly wasn't!) and that (4) RS don't reply to email enquiries (probably because they are getting swamped as a result of 1, 2 & 3).

Although some people do seem to have got their Pi's a little earlier than expected, most of us checking this thread are getting them later.

As Montala suggested, RS could do themselves (and us) a big favour by updating the estimated delivery dates on this thread.. I think if we know it's coming a week or two or three later, then we'll stop asking why it's not arrived yet, and switch back to patiently-waiting-mode. Better for everyone, surely?

As an aside, I was delighted to receive a shipment notification for order 43xxx today. Thank-you RS. Sorry I doubted you.

Today I hold my Raspberry Pi in my hands! w00t!

The email quote and the post from Mike both were correct for me.
I am now a happy camper.

Quick test of the system, and everything seems to work 100%.

I recive de order confirmation in 31 may, my order it's 651XX despatch time 6 weeks. And I don't recive nothing. Anybody has the same problem???

Yes, my friend also has 65xxx number and 6 weeks delivery time. He's still waiting for shipment confirmation too so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Same here, order confirmed on 31.05.
Order number 62xxx , despatch time 6 weeks, haven't heard anything from R.S.
Still waiting ...

My 'Despatch expected within 6 week(s)' expires today. No update email - looks like I have to join the rest of you and sit here twiddling my thumbs until it just shows up?

And that's my situation:

17 May 2012, 09:32 AM: Order online #9423 / payment ( Despatch expected within 3 weeks ).

12 Jun 2012, 01:13 PM: Nothing.

I can't believe, a couple of minutes after my post from 6:00 I got the DHL shipment notification email.
Looks like R.S. is just a couple of 1.000's behind their plan.
Will post again upon arrival.

Dear ianclive, The number of my order is 28***, purchased on May 22. RS sent me this response:

Good Afternoon

I am sorry for the delay to the shipment of your order but due to high demand your order has not been dispatched yet. As your order conformation highlights, this could take up to　… weeks and once shipped a dispatch confirmation email with all tracking details shall be sent to you. We've put together a forecast schedule that shows which orders we expect to have shipped by the end of each week.

I have one question, how tu manage and see the shipping ? Because on FAQ of RS:
Q - Can I place a forward or scheduled order?
A - A new website has been created to manage Raspberry Pi orders which means we are unable to offer the same services as the standard RS website. This means we are unable to offer the standard RS Components forward and scheduled order facilities for Raspberry Pi orders.

Finally my PI arrived, order number was 62xxx.

I have a quick question about my order.

I got an invitation to order at 31.5. and ordered at 4.6., order number 711xx.

According to the summary on the first page I would just get my Raspberry PI with this delivery, but so far I have still not received an email.

I would like to know if I can expect in the coming days with the delivery of my device or if I have to wait until the next delivery cycle.

I think they are a few thousand behind the plan. I would expect it to come this next week.

I am just making an educated guess though. I've seen a few late 60xxx's being delivered last week.
