Order and Shipping update from RS & Allied

My order placed with RS 27th June no 113*** delivery time advised as within 10 weeks. Tick tock!

I'm starting to get impatient, my rs ordering number 92xxx ( 21 June) and i haven't heard anything. Don't they send u a status mail.

As I read your posts I dont know what to think any more, order number 114xxx, ordered on 27 Jun, dispatch time 10 weeks (first week of September as I figured it out), untill today no info from RS, I reply to confirmation mail asking for info update and not a single letter from them.

By my calculations, yours should have shipped by now. I would suggest emailing RS with your full order number to find out the status - (email raspberrypi@rswww.com with Mike@RS in the subject line).

It is possible that the case is slowing it down, but the only way to know for sure is to ask them. If you find out where it is, please let us know!

After the order email, you wont get anything else until it ships. Order #101xxx shipped a week ago, so I would imagine that yours would be close. For a while they were doing 10,000 per week.

Yea, I already sent a mail to RS a couple of hours ago because I spoke to RS Sweden suport and they recomended to e-mail them. So I hope to get an answer next week.

But I have also bought a case and that may be the problem.

ordered mine and paid for on 20th june order number is 83xxx sent an email asking if they could at least give me an idea on dispatch as i am going away at the end of the month and dont want to come back only to have to go and start searching for my pi, if i knew a date i could make sure that someone will be here to get the parcel. by the way i''m in the uk.

I would think its the case. I ordered a Pi (nothing else) on June 22 order number 992xx and it was delivered July 30.

I ordered 27th June, number 112xxx.
I sent RS 3 emails asking for progress.
Finally they replied saying it will take the full 10 weeks that they indicated when i ordered.
I didnt order anything except the pi

Placed an order on July 3rd (140***). Estimated time of delivery is 11 weeks. Hoping to get it by mid September. Mailed raspberrypi@rswww.com for an update but got no reply.

My order was placed with RS on 2nd June. "Order reference number is: 93482". I can't get any reply from RaspberryPi@rswww.com when I try to progress the order.
Anybody got a lower ref.no.?

I think RaspberryPi@rswww.com email goes straight to /dev/null. Like a black hole.

I've sent several emails there with no reply whatsoever. Not even a courtesy auto-reply (thank you for your email...).

Poor customer service if you ask me.

recieved a reply to an email yesterday that i am due
a shipment on 23rd of this month, my order number is
83xxx was given a shipment of 9 weeks and that wil be just
about right.

815xx, no despatch notice for me yet either. Mike@RS has mentioned that there will likely be an update to the delivery schedule soon to address these sort of queries in a more general way. Until then, sit tight / get some sun -- you'll need the vitamin D for later.

My order number is 250024****.
Yes, that is correct. A 10 digit code in the 2.5 millions while others are in the hundred thousands.
Does Allied have a separate order number system from RS?
Are there just that many orders?
Did the order number assignment system change around that day?
I would love to hear from some other Allied customers with an order number around mine.

mine was ordered june 24th in the morning, and I got a 105XXX order number, but like i said in my earlier post have yet to hear when it might be shipped or if not when we will get a refund etc, i ordered mine with a case...

For those that ordered cases with their Pis from RS...it appears that *which* case you ordered might make a difference. Lat time I checked (yesterday) they had white and black cases in stock, but are backordered on clear cases.
