Adobe Flash is no longer supported by ARM devices.....

There are workarounds for the various Operating Systems available for the RPi

BBB ask in their support forums would seem the obvious place :)

The Pi can run HTML5 video, which should mean you're fine for YouTube.

It should be more than easy, it should work out of the box.

We probably need to develop an install to let Noobs have an install that will run youtube without problems. ;)
Noob is not derogatory the noob is just the lower end of the noob--geek spectrum being a noob is just your first step towards being an uber-geek ;)

Why should YouTube and flash work out of the box?

You want us to come to your house and set it up for your particular needs as well? A $35 device isn't going to do everything you want. Neither the R Pi or BBB are going to do Flash, both with do HTML 5 YouTube videos. This topic gets asked gets asked once a week minimum... Run a search.

The issue of being able to view YouTube pictures luckily enough has nothing to do with the issue of the ability of running Flash, although the two seem coupled at first sight. Remember Apple tables, they certainly do not support Flash, and they certainly are able to view YouTube, both in a browser, and in their own "YouTube apps".

So please separate the discussion between the ability of running flash and the purposed need to watch YouTube movies!

If I'm not really mistaken the PI is able to play YouTube movies, with the essential hardware accelerated decoders, by using HTML5, or by catching the link to the YouTube source, and diverting it to a HW accelerated player, or by using its own "YouTube app", which is called if i'm not mistaken simply the XBMC multimedia player.
