I've seen Windows 1.01 on a real PC (Apricot Xen) the game reversi had a bug in it that allowed the computer to cheat.
Early versions of Windows was pretty naff until 3.0 came along although it's "real mode" was really buggy.

Where did you get the Windows 1.0.1 stuff from??

I actually wrote code for a semiconductor wafer handling system that ran Windows 1 and got installed at DEC. Remember DEC?

Never saw any in person by my university had a few DEC Alphas workstations powering the email system, education software and the chronically slow JANET access.
