Can I have the nice relaxing red, green & black back?

It was horrible, but it was a good April Fools joke.

Glad we're back to normal now.

First off well done for a completely different look and feel

Obviously anything shiny and new takes time and if the end result is a better experience then I all for the change

Just a suggestion, under Pi Academy / Buy a Pi etc it would maybe look more symmetrical if photos alternate left and right side ?

:D :D :D

I'm getting lots of these:

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Too many connections [1040]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.
Do you need to tweak phpBB3 parms or is it just an effect of being offline for a few hours?

I have somewhat limited vision, so must use large fonts. Most sites on most browsers (I'm using Firefox) allow this, adjusting the line wrapping, etc., so the text fits into the designated window area. Yours doesn't. Or, more precisely, the text in the right-hand "banner" area doesn't. So when I view the site, the two sets of text overlap.

Many of the links from the 'Usage' page are empty. I suspect it's still a WIP. ;)

Really like the new layout. Is this going to be rolled out to the forum as well? There is a bug in the current forum layout in that there is nothing that says which forum you are currently viewing when you are reading a thread or posting a reply/new message. I was hoping this might have been fixed with the new website - guess I will have to wait lol :-(

Seems that the images behind each box are offset, and/or missing.

For the forum, you'd be better off using prosilver to fix that:

goto user control panel and select
board preferences / my board style
"prosilver"
save
Android app - Raspi Card Imager - download and image SD cards - No PC required !

Yuk - this seems to be the default phpBB skin - not particularly easy on the eye. I think I will wait for the Raspberry Pi skin to be updated!

Just noticed that the website footer claims that the Raspberry Pi Foundation is "UK registered charity 1129409". There is no such thing as a UK registered charity - separate registrations are required for England & Wales, Scotland and NI.

I've got to say I'm pretty shocked you didn't make the site responsive. That's pretty much the equivalent of making an IE6-only website in the year 2008.

Why on earth is the new site not responsive?

Search bar does not open in Help->Documentation and ....
When selecting documentation from the Help page, the documentation page (http://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation) opens and the black underline under the green HELP disappears.
Clicking on the search icon at the right does not open the search bar.
Same for the other two Help items located under documentation:
  • Usage
    Troubleshooting
Maybe because documentation is not located under help in the file hierarchy???

Seems pretty responsive when I poke it. Though I think the screams may be coming from Ben.

It seems our definitions of "responsive" have diverged: please elaborate.

Hmm. Just tried it in backwood Cambridshire, 8Mbits/s ADSL at most, and its whizzing along. Problem at your end?

in the help section, the quick start guide:
http://www.raspberrypi.org/help/quick-start-guide/

the section "NOT ESSENTIAL BUT HELPFUL TO HAVE"

there is a sentence that says:
"Heaphones or earphones with a 2.5mm jack will work with your Raspberry Pi."

The 2.5mm jack should be a 3.5mm Jack!

2.5mm jacks do exist, but are too thin to fit, and are normally not used for headsets and such.

Also, its Headphones, not "Heaphones". :D

Maybe just me and against your site rules but I'd like links to external sites to open in new tab (particularly the ones on the community page)
