Forum Password Reset

Who do I need to contact to have my forum password reset ?

It's the old story of a trashed disk and re-installation, then realising one has become too reliant on "keep me logged in" and Firefox automatically filling in password fields.

I have tried the "I forgot my password" and "Resend activation e-mail" links but those report "The e-mail/username information submitted could not be found". I know my username is correct ("hippy") and when I tried to register this account using the previously used email address it says it is already in use, and that wouldn't be by anyone except me.

Something is out of kilter and that may be because I registered before the migration to this forum. I emailed forum@raspberrypi.org a week ago but have heard nothing back.

If an admin, mod or anyone could help out or point me in the right direction I'd appreciate that.

It has been passed on. Unfortunately, it takes an Admin to do this so we mods cannot help. So when one of them logs in it should happen.

Nearly two weeks on and I have received no responses to my emails to forum@raspberrypi.org and I have heard nothing from any admins.

I have however resolved the problem myself so am not as peeved as I might otherwise be.

Requesting a password reminder, specifying my username but leaving the email address field blank, got a new password sent to my email address. My account profile settings show my email address as I thought it was, is what the reminder was sent to, but was not accepted as a valid username and email address combination when requesting a reminder. Go figure
