can i use my raspberry pi as a miencraft server (public) if so how do i do it? thanks :D

Yes, you can. im not entirely sure on the details, but if you check in the gaming forum it will tell you to download java 8, the server jar and then run the jar. then you will need to forward your port to make it public (be warned. the pi will not cope with more than maybe 4 or so people on the server.)

You'll need to port forward the Minecraft ports in your home router.
