Hello,
I am not sure if Farnell is serious company. I will never ever order something from them.
Me:
I. Last email I received from Farnell was saying, that package will be shipped via UPS.
II. My package arrived after the week via Royal Mail
III. Farnell charged 40.36 € from my credit card
My friend (from the same city):
I. Ordered one raspberry from Farnell and another one from RS Components
II. This time Farnell charged 39.93 € from his credit card (randomly?)
III. RS Components charged ONLY 39.16 € and shipped him raspberry via DHL curier !!!
I will also contact Farnell company, but can someone say me how:
1.) Farnell can charge 2x different price for the same product+shipping ?
2.) Farnell can charge more then RS Components and ship item (cheaper) by Royal Mail ?
Re: Farnell - serious company?
what are you arguing about tiny cents differences for - its just the exchange rate fluctuations thats all - remember we in the UK were not so stupid as to join in the euro debacle
Re: Farnell - serious company?
The price difference could be based on the exchage rate on the date of original order. The difference is button, so why make such a fuss?
Re: Farnell - serious company?
Ok, you are right, I wrote it maybe more offensive than you should. But it's not about cents, it's about principle. Both orders were made the same day (+- 10minutes). Still I don't understand issue about Royal/UPS shipping.
