Hey guys. So I posted about a possible future updated version of the Rpi camera but as that will be happening, I might have to revert to a different camera after a while. Don't get me wrong, the PI camera has exceeded my expectations but I am still looking for something better and just as stable as the RPI camera.
Here is my situation: I need a camera that can run indefinitely and take images every 45 seconds to a minute.
I had originally ordered the Logitech C920 and I spent about a week trying to keep it stable and running without problems(I updated everything, and tried different image taking software), but with no luck as it will always "die" after some minutes(hour at most) and dissapear from my usb list or if it is, I won't have access to it and the only way to restart it is to unplug it and plug it, which I cannot do remotely.
So my question to you:
What kind of camera setup do you have and is it stable in the sense of taking images very frequently without dying or suddenly erroring out ?
