Has anyone seen this yet? Basically this guy is using a Raspberry Pi to live hack AR parrot quadcopters in flight and take control of them. It's impressive, but taking something with the intention of permanently depriving the owner of it is basically theft. So I feel a little dubious about this.

I wonder if Amazon are going to be in trouble? :)

I've read about this too. Yes, if the intention of the attacker is to keep control over someone else's property, that is indeed theft. But in this case, the bloke is not promoting theft, he's highlighting security issues and this is probably a very effective way of doing so. If he would be a cracker, he wouldn't have published the hack but used it for his own benefit instead. I wonder what would happen if 2 (or more) of these 'hacking drones' would try and hack each other? ;)

Hmm, they would reach sentience and start the uprising of the machines against us?

I just have visions of them throwing your package in the air between them, doing more and more complex stunts before letting it smash to the ground... "how dare you mark the package as fragile..."
