warranty and overclocking

1) by how much can i overclock the pi and not loose the warranty??

2) by how much can i overclock the pi and still run it stably and not affect its life???

1) Overclock won't cancel your warranty: http://www.raspberrypi.org/archives/2008
2) Stability is differ from board to board. Read the article.

But does this apply only to turbo mode or all modes from modest to turbo???

BTW i am using model b rev2 with hynx chip, wouldit be stable on arm= 800 and core= 300 and rest at default???

You have no idea whether it will be stable unless you try it.

Overclocking will ONLY affect the warranty if:
You use both Force_Turbo=1 and Over_Voltage or if you use current_limit_overide, or if you set temp_limit above 85. As far as I know there is no other way to void the warranty by overclocking.
