Teamviewer for Raspberry PI request

Hello people!

I see a lot of "Teamviewer for Raspberry PI request". And thought; why don't people e-mail Teamviewer. If we don't show them how big the demand is, they will never know. But if we do, we could probably get an ARM version sooner or later.

So send them an e-mail with your request.

How big is the demand?

I suspect that if teamviewer for the Pi existed it performance would be so poor that nobody would use it.
Don't forget a Pi is 10 or more times slower than that regular PC sitting on your desk or the average laptop. See how slowly X windows runs as it is.

What about memory consumption? I notice teamviewer eats 35MB just showing the connect dialogs, haven't started sharing the desktop yet.

And here is the killer. Teamviewer uses Wine to run on Linux. After all it is a Windows program. As far as I know there is no Wine for ARM processors that will run x86 Windows programs.

teamviewer claim over a 100 million users. So if a tenth of the Raspberry Pi community adopted it that's hardly worth noticing for teamviewer. Not worth their bother anyway.

we just would need the terminal emulation, not the full GUI
this would be awesome
do you know something that can allow to enter on a natted RPI?
