XBMC Error2: Share not available

Sun Aug 04, 2013 8:53 am

I have XBMC on Openelec up and running. I am tying to use WiFi to access my music files saved on a NAS. It won't. The WiFi is working I have been allocated an IP address. I can access downloads and ping it from my laptop. When I try to Add Source to the music folder and then click on browse / windows network(smb) I get Error 2: Share not available.
If I attach an ethernet cable (and reboot) I then see a folder called WORKGROUP - this just contains the folder OPENELEC.
Clicking on UPnP Devices will show my Laptop, but not my NAS.
Why can't I access anything else and why won't the Wifi connect to anything except the internet.

you have to manually add the share folder or delete some temp file to get rid of that annoying bug. dont try to browse for it go into add and put in its network address such as smb:\\user\mediafoldername if its shared it should be added somewhere then go into the folder that was added and browse inside it to add from there.
