Favourite PI PSU failure

My favourite USB PSU (From a Android tablet I think) has decided its not going to give out 5V any more.

I've spent the day chasing intermittant problems with 2 RPi/wifi dongles/ IO boards and I finally checked my voltage and I'm only getting 4.35

Its off to CPC we go

This brings to mind the old adage, "When in doubt, megger it out", although I suppose " ... volter it out" might be more appropriate in this case. It seems like 95% of all aberrant Pi behavior eventually winds up being due to an inadequate power supply and/or cable, and the other 95% of problems are due to the "loose nut behind the keyboard". BTW, 73.8% of all statistics are made up, for those keeping score

I think your 95.4% totally correct with your figures

Backup PSU in service - 4.83V on GPIO pins - result - happiness
