As opposed to a $10 SD card and a $8 USB Wireless adapter?

Hmm, that is a very good point

and probably a USB hub with its cable, jamesh, unless you want to trade your KB for wifi ^^. But indeed, if it's $90, it's too expensive.

Well, the USB hub I'm using on the Raspi was about $5 I think...but I would go for a keyboard with built in hub I think. Not uncommon and perfect for the Model A. Might just get one.

Anyway, have now got a couple of other USB Wireless adapters going - needed to rebuild the kernel again, and download some 'non-free' firmwares but otherwise no problems

So, new adapters I have got going are : Netgear WG111v2 and 3COM 3CRUSB10075. Left notebook with chipset data in at work - will add that information tomorrow.

Will take a look at bluetooth next I think.

The chipsets tested and working are :

rtl8187 and zd1211rw - google should tell you which adapters they are in.

The SD/WiFi cards could be a good asset. It would depend on the use. Those 256MB card is too small and the wireless B is borderline. Maybe the toshiba will prove to be a good item to try. Think wireless distributed cluster!
