Finding the correct forum

Thu Jun 27, 2013 1:17 pm

If I want to post a question, I first do a search to look for similar topics, to see if it has already been answered. If it hasn't I would like to post in one of the forums that came up in my original search as this is probably a good place to put a similar topic.
But searching on this forum will just yield topics, and it doesn't tell me which forum any of the topics have been posted in.
Is it possible to add this information, or maybe breadcrumbs at the top of the page, so you can traverse up the forum hierarchy?
Currently I can only start at the top forum index and go down the tree, but this usually means a lot of dead-end searching.
Most forums have this type of behaviour, so apologies if I have just missed it.

Well, I think I can answer my own question
Searching provides the forum and topic links at the right hand side of a post.
When viewing a posted topic, the "breadcrumbs" link to the higher level forum is at the bottom of the page. I'm used to it being at the top.
