The Fedora Remix was supposed to be the "preferred" distro at launch time. and its still on the Downloads page, so its fair for RS to say that.
I at first thought the OP was being pedantic about how "Fedora" should be described in relation to the R-Pi computer ...
A Quick Word on Trademarks - This software distribution is counted as a “Fedora Remix” in the terminology of the Fedora project because it contains software not found in the Fedora package collection. Please do not refer to the Remix as “Fedora” ... please refer to it as a “Fedora Remix” - http://www.raspberrypi.org/archives/805
Perhaps some clarification from the OP would help as it's often hard to second guess what people are being pedantic over if they don't explicitly state the problem as they see it.
Boots from the SD card into one of the Linux distributions which are available from our Raspberry Pi shop or from "www.raspberrypi.org/downloads
Or perhaps simply "Boots from the SD card" as it can (should) run non-Linux OS's and even bare metal code.
