It was an attempt at light hearted humour via a childrens story that this post would feed trolls demands for the whereabouts of the rest of the 10K (following on from what grumpyoldgit also highlighted before me).

This place sometimes.. Seriously!    I wouldn't worry about this post, i'm sure someone trolling over the 'missing ones' will make their own post soon enough without even reading this one.

Due to the sheer improbability of so many Raspberry Pis occupying the same space at the same time, the fabric of space-time was warped. This resulted in the RaspPis disappearing through a worm-hole back to 1908, where they shed their temporal potential energy rather too quickly for comfort.

Maybe that is the number some poor Chinese worker managed to patch (replacing the blank RJ-45 connector with one with the ethernet transformer in it), before he broke down mentally and/or physically.

But really who knows, maybe its indeed the result of say one week of patching.

I'll gladly take 2K now rather than 10K in a month, even if I don't get one of them - it will be really good to see some boards out there, keeping sceptics quiet for a brief moment...

I wonder if the 50 are those that have been spread around to various dealerships to go on their exhibition stands and videos, and to train up the support personnel ready for the big release.
