Is that the first shipment in the box?
Re: RS RPi's
I hope not; 10,000 RaspPis is about a cubic metre.

Re: RS RPi's
Ohhh, that is why they asked me to send some alpha boards.
Not true, I am only joking....
(I have to be careful after that spoof post about 'the next version' I posted a while ago. Seems everything I say is taken seriously.)

Re: RS RPi's
Hmmm - if you look behind them, you can see a website: http://www.rsprc.com. Searching for R-Pi leads you to : http://china.rs-online.com/web.....aspberrypi
... which includes the information about electronica:
http://china.rs-online.com/web.....id=epc2012
..bugger, that means we'll never get one now

Even so, at an average speed of 80 knots, an airship should be able to make it from China to the UK in about three days, non stop. Adding a few days for headwinds and refuelling, it shouldn't be more than a week.

Re: RS RPi's
It is clear from the picture that they intend to distribute by parachuting Pi from the airship, so not only do I need to keep an eye for the postie but also for packages descending from the skies.

Cheer up guys! It means they do take the product seriously if even the people in China react like that. I mean, they drown in gadgets.

I never have any problems with FP4......

If you zoom in all the way to that location and then look to the right of the white roof you see someone lying on his back playing with a Pi! At least now we know where the other 9,999 Pies went
