Polyhedra database

Fri Apr 12, 2013 11:17 am

Has anyone set up Polyhedra on the Raspberry Pi. There is a video on their website on how to use it but I can't seem to find how to install it anywhere.

If anyone has a tutorial or some tips I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

You mean the database management software? It runs on Linux, but is probably compiled for x86, not ARM. Unless you have the source code, and compile it yourself there is little chance you will get it to work on the PI's ARM6 CPU. And also its commercial software, isn't it!

Okay, I stand corrected. Both on the "not running on ARM6" as on the "its an evil commercial product", and you are ripping it off :-) point of view.

Enea have built a version of Polyhedra for the Raspberry Pi, for use with the Raspbian distro. If anyone is interested in it for a different distro, drop me a PM. Polyhedra Lite is free (subject to some constraints of further distribution) and the documentation can be found at http://developer.polyhedra.com.
