Pi store will not run

Fri Mar 15, 2013 11:55 pm

Here we go again. My problem is similar but not the same as several other post so I went for a new thread. This is on a fresh install. When I ran the pi store the first time it told me to get the new version which I did but it failed. So I uninstalled with:
sudo apt-get --purge remove pistore
sudo apt-get autoremove

I then reinstalled with:
sudo apt-get install pistore
I get the following:

Code: Select all

Reading state information... Done
The following extra packages will be installed:
  libqtwebkit4
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  libqtwebkit4 pistore

I can start up the Pi Store app but when I attempt to log in i get:

message /WEB-INF/view/jsp/default/ui/casClientLoginView.jsp
description The requested resource (/WEB-INF/view/jsp/default/ui/casClientLoginView.jsp) is not available.

So I am stuck. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hmm, weird one. I've seen this before, somehow the user session gets a bit borked :\

Can you try navigating to /home/pi/indiecity/pistore and removing the userdata.bin file?

Please Please Please can you make it so that teachers (and similar) can run the PiStore through a proxy. We have no choice but to run the Pi's through a proxy. Port 9090.

It doesn't work for me even after I have remove the userdata.bin file. I still got the same error and cannot login to Pi Store. It is very frustrating.
