shipping cost

Hi All,

Farnell says that we can order only a raspberryPi for person, paying 9€ (in italy) for shipping cost. but I and my friends want to order 3 raspberryPi, and eventually divide the 9€ by 3, this is reasonble

but obligate each person to pay 9€ for a unit, is not acceptable

I suggest to do some pressure on Farnell and RS to allow to order from one to three unit for person so we can divide shipping cost.

vorrei puntualizzare un fatto per me inaccettabile:

nel pre-order ho visto che acquistando 1 raspberry ci sono da pagare 9€ x il corriere, spese che spariscono se ne ordino 3

cosi' ho fatto il preordine per 3 unita', 1 per me e altri 2 per 2 amici miei (qualche altro di riserva lo prendero' quando sara' disponibile a stock)

mi arriva una mail della farnell nella quale mi dice che ne posso ordinare solo uno ! sono parzialmente daccordo

cosi io e miei amici per averne 1 a testa dobbiamo pagare 27€ di spese corriere, il corriere deve fare 3 viaggi con spreco di tempo e di gasolio, e di questi tempi risparmiare non e' male

quindi, sarebbe bello poterne ordinare 3 senza pagare le spese del corriere , oppure poterne ordinare 3 pagando 9€ di spese corriere, cosi almeno le possiamo dividere in 3 e ci viene 3€ di corriere a testa

quello che scrivo penso sia nello spirito del raspberry, non voglio pensar male che la farnell ci guadagni anche sulle spese del corriere, loro di certo non pagano 9€ a spedizione, max 5 o 6€

This is intentional and is at the insistence of RPF to ensure that maximum number people have access to the Pi in the initial roll out. As production is ramped up the limit will be withdrawn.

yes I perfectly agree with this

but if 3 people register and order a raspberry and ask to sent it to one address and pay only one shipping cost, why this is an impossible request?

this politics only contribute to increasing pollution due to diesel consumption
