Re: Help with VGA

Hello all,

I'm new here.

I trying to connect monitor that supports only VGA with R-Pi. So I was looking for some solution to connect VGA with HDMI via DVI cables/adapters (maybe), but I'm not sure what to do.

What is the best combination to connect only VGA monitor with R-Pi?

Thank you!

You need an active converter.  Like this...http://www.monoprice.com/produ.....8;format=2

I know that this site is not in your country, the link is just for reference.

Yes, cheap passive cables will not work with the R-Pi.
