Farnell - 16/07/2012
We all know this dates are previsions, not the real ones.
When they start making more and things get short out.
We all see them getting shorter, I hope...

Re: Post your estimated arrival dates
Given up, life is too short. No reliable comms, no stock and, bluntly, no likelyhood of any stock for probably 4-6 months.
I would say that it does seem rather irresponsible to be actively promoting the distributers on twitter in the full knowledge that there looks like a 4-6 month waiting list . . . can that achieve anything other than setting very false expectations ?
Good luck

Newark April 3. I am content. Not too long to wait, but a few (maybe 2% of) community members will have boards before me so that they'll be able to help if I need any assistance.

Re: Post your estimated arrival dates
I ordered on February 29 around 6:00am EST from http://canada.newark.com/ and I have an expected ship date of March 30.
I don't know if I'm in the first batch or not. Let's hope it won't be pushed back.

element14 - Australia - Supplier lead time 143 days. That's not til july
Re: Post your estimated arrival dates
Ordered via Newark Canada (canada.newark.com)
My estimated delivery alternates between April 10 and July 30 every other day it seems.
Didn't order till March 10th though.
Looking forward to it. I am likely going to use it as a Media device though.. until I have time to sit down and start seeing what I can do with the GPIO.. will see what sort of development environment is available once this has been out for a while.. I suspect it will be quite good... seems to be lots of really smart people here.

Re: Post your estimated arrival dates
Any estimates from Allied Electronics???
As far as I've seen (looking around the Pi sites), nobody who ordered from Allied Electronics in the US has gotten a estimated ship date. I ordered from them on March 2nd. On March 5th, I got an email saying "suspending future orders... but your order is still in place". On the website, my order is still in "Update Pending" status.
I've been hoping they'd at least provide an estimated ship date close to the April 3rd date that a lot of US folks are getting from Newark, the other US distributor. I've been hesitant to call and ask for an update. I suppose they'll provide one when they can.

Re: Post your estimated arrival dates
Mine from Newark was originally May 11, then moved to April 15, and then to March 30...
Do I honestly think that date is going to hold? Not on your life... But I'm hoping!

Re: Post your estimated arrival dates
Element 14 Australia are not even giving any kind of ETA yet either. I ordered on the 29th. The customer service rep told me that they would be sending out e-mails when they have an ETA.
Re: Post your estimated arrival dates
Hi everyone my very first post on the forum, my estimated date is 30th April
Re: Post your estimated arrival dates
Farnell UK are showing (today 16 March {2012 } ), board only Model B:-
"Supplier lead time 135 days" i.e., about 4.5 months ... excluding prep/pick/pack/post & wait for delivery.
Total: £29.46 inc VAT & Delivery.
£29.46 = US$46.3053 (according to http://www.xe.com)

Original order date (that I received after pre-ordering) was May 14th, 2012, from Newark.
Checking the order on the site, it says April 3rd, 2012.

Re: Post your estimated arrival dates
Mine was wc12/03/12 (ordered 7am on launch day), but due to the whole ethernet jack thing, has been delayed. Farnell said they didn't want to provide an eta to avoid getting my hopes up (which is understandable)
