I'm curious as to when we'll start seeing the first Pi projects, so post your estimated arrival dates!

Mine is estimated to arrive WC 23rd of april. When does your slice of Pi arrive?

I got an 'urgent order information' email from Farnell on the morning of the 29th telling me it was w/c 12th March.

I'll believe it when it's in my hands.

Mine is on backorder too, but didn't you get a whole bunch of emails from farnell? One of them should contain a PDF file with an estimated delivery date.

I got the 23rd March. It's annoying because I was one of the people who ordered  Farnell's mysterious Raspberry PI "chipset" early in the morning and didn't realise until later on in the day, by which time my hope of getting in on an early batch was long gone.

I'm taking these estimated delivery dates with a pinch of salt, at this stage it's got to be more of a guesstimate than anything.

after battling my way through DDOS's websites at RS and Farnell, I managed to get a "register your interest" sent off to RS at around 6.03...

I was a little miffed when the tweet from Raspberry claimed if you cot to that page, that it was the wrong page.... so I spent what felt like eternity refreshing the page hoping it would redirect to the correct page. which never arrived....

Onwards I fought, through the even worse of a mess that was Farnell, Eventually, I gave up at aroung 8AM,and went to bed, I had been up all night in anticipation of getting my hands of a piece of Pi. and was having a major sulk....

I tried one last time, this time from my phone... and woohoo, I managed to ge through the farnell mess to a page where I could actually order a piece of Pi.

I had two options, one was too cheap, and I assumed it was a mistake, so clicked on the other... then my battery died !! AGGGHHHHH.... i usually charge it over night,,, but I had been up.... charger is at the side of the bed... so I quickly switched on the laptop i keep on the bedside table, and with a bit of luck I got straight through to the page I needed to order my Pi... account registered, card details entered, and woohoo, it was ordered....

By the time I woke up, I had an email from farnall giving me a delivery date of 26rd March!!  I was ok with that, I knew I had missed the first batch, so assumed my order was going to arrive with the second batch. I was a happy bunny...

The next morning, I had been sent an email overnight from Farnell pushing my delivery date back a month to 23rd April.. I was not happy at that at all... but what the hell can you do? oh well, never mind. At least I know I have one on the way. I had heard nothing at all from RS at this time.

reading the forums, there was a lot of unhappy bunnies at the fiasco that was RS and farnell. lots of people saying that RS had lost a lot of the registration details from the early enquiries... people saying they had had confirmation form RS that they were in line in order of the "enquiries". I knew I had a very early registration, but as I had heard nothing, I assumed mine had been lost. apparently all registrations will have had confirmation by the 2nd... I had nothing..

it was late evening on the 3rd, when I finally got an email from RS confirming my registration. woohoo. I knew I had a very early registration, definitely before 6.05,

So I have one on its way from Farnell,  due 23rd April and I should hear about a delivery date for the other from RS on or around the 5th March,,,,

Same here. Although this is probably my fault as I waited a couple days after launch to order, after Farnell fixed the shipping charge. I'm hoping that date will come sooner though, with all this demand I don't see why it would take that long to get the Pi out of the oven

I got an email from Farnell that had an order confirmation attached as a PDF file. This had a delivery estimate on the order line.

All I can see on my order is that it's on back order, so I'm guessing 30 plus days?

Est ship date on order page: 31 March

Est ship date on confirmation page: 31 May

Est ship date on confirmation email: 11 May

I received no e-mail from RS after registering just after 6AM on Wednesday.

So I then registered with Farnell on Friday (2nd Mar) evening and I now have ordered with an expected delivery date of w/c 14/05/2012
