To Eben, Liz and all the people who have worked to hard to bring this project together, I want to extend a hand of heartfelt thanks and gratitude for all the selfless hard work and sleepless nights you have all put in to Raspberry Pi. It must be so exciting seeing all this hard work coming to fruition and also seeing all the fervour and excitement it has brought about.
I as well as the majority of others realise how much of your personal time and lives you have poured into this and want you to know that as we patiently wait for release day we are thinking of you and wishing it all go as smoothly as possible. What you have done is world changing on so many levels and facets. The possibilities of this device as you have foreseen and will have realised by now are so wide reaching, yet as a charity you stand to make no personal gain.
From my point of view, your Raspberry Pi devices will not only be a hobby gadget to fiddle with, they will also function as low power servers, but also a classroom full of them will hopefully soon be winging their way to a school in Kenya.
I'm sure others here will join me in saying thank you.
