DSi port, other things (possible accessories?)

Loving my model B, but there are some things I find myself wishing for (I do hope this is appropriate for this forum - apologies if not):
1) The DSI port... it would be lovely if, when the Foundation display and corresponding binary blob is released, the DSI port could also be used to support other displays. The question has been asked many times so I'm just adding my voice to the crowd here.
2) RGB TTL output, and LVDS output. The Raspberry Pi's chip does not support such a thing... but DSi to TTL converter ICs exist. As do DSi to LVDS... could the Foundation please consider releasing plug-in boards which can be used to convert the DSI connection to RGB TTL/LVDS such that we can better connect a wider range of displays?
Either way I will be shoehorning various displays into service with my Pi (once I figure out how... quite a bit different from FPGAs and microcontrollers) but I would love to be using official accessories rather than having to knock boards together myself!
