I guess the BBC thinks its doing enough with its "Click" program, I`d love to see the RasPi supported by the BBC with a a Tv program.

Maybe http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/ or http://www.petition.co.uk/cate.....echnology/

And there was the old .Tv program on Sky which had a good tutorial segment as well.

We're trying more direct routes with the BBC as well - we've been having talks with them for a couple of years, but they're a pretty monolithic organisation and it's sometimes hard to get the right person's ear. We're still trying!

We're doing OK. We've got some big-cheese-type meetings coming up, and I think they're gradually becoming a bit more aware of the project at the levels we need them to be. Thanks very much for the offer, though!

Not a news article per se, but right now on most nerd sites in France, every time there is an article about such-and-such cheap/hacker device, there's a comment (and not by me ^^) about Pi coming soon...
You've got Buzz, guys.

Rory Cellan-Jones from the BBC has a picture of the Raspberry Pi running Scratch on his Posterous.

(I've just looked again at that sentence: what do you think someone from 1811 would make of it?)

Brilliant - I hadn't spotted your post until today. Thanks - and say hi to the rest of the lab for me! Feel free to stick it on one of the other bits of the message board if you like (I might pop it on the front page later, once the Qt buzz has died off a bit); I'm not sure how many eyeballs this area gets.

I have to say that I'm amazed at the tremendous amount of press the project has gotten so far. Good work!

Louis Natanson looks at Abertay University in Scotland, their Dare to be Digital model of industry-focused Education and why Dare contestants and Abertay graduates are such a keen target for recruitment.

Dare to be Digital distils a production cycle down to just nine weeks, pushing student teams to deliver fully playable game prototypes to a fixed deadline.

Their prototypes then go on display to the public, engaging students with user testing and the simple commercial truth that great ideas aren’t always great business. The audience must be thrilled, excited and engaged to buy your product.

...
One of Raspberry Pi's founders and driving force, Eben Upton, will be on the ARM booth on October 26 and 27th at the Santa Clara Conference Center and at 1.30 on the 27th will provide some background to the development during a session in the Expo floor theatre.
