Slashdotted again. I'm surprised they're not sick of us yet.
Of course. I spent about 30 minutes weighting each word, each phrase, to make sure the story was engaging, techie and geek enough to be submitted and people not get sick of it.
Well, not really. I spent 30 minutes or more writing the submission, but I wasn't expecting it to be accepted to front page. I'm happy and really surprised now!
Hey, they can't be sick of us with only two Slashdottages in the same week - I recall Beagleboard and Pandaboard to have much more stories, and they don't have such a noble cause behind them as the Pi has (although they are still ARM-powered boards, they are much expensive). Plus, the first appearance on /. was about the 2005 PC prototype, and not directly about the Pi.
You should also check the story that came after the Pi one on Slashdot. It's about OSS and Portuguese public schools - that is, the schools were I study. Let's have hope!
